Black Tiger Jerky is a gourmet snack made with the best cuts of fine, whole sliced meat, which is deeply marinated, in our special recipes of select herbs and spices. In addition, Black Tiger’s manufacturing facility complies with USDA practices and undergoes periodic inspections requiring strict control of procedures and documentations.

Jerky is an excellent meat product, it is very low in fat, cholesterol, carbohydrates, high in protein and very flavorful. That's why it’s an ideal meat snack especially for athletes, the health conscious or those trying to lose weight. But jerky are more than a flavorful healthy snack of today. It has a long time tested history as a traditional snack among many cultures. The origin of jerky dates back as early as 1550 to the South American native tribe called Quechua, who salted, dried or smoked strips of meat. The word "jerky" was derived from the Quechua word "charqui". In the spirit of tradition, Black Tiger beef jerky is made natural style with whole premium cuts of beef unlike some modern day brands which are made of ground and reconstituted meat. It is then deeply marinated and slow cooked, and dried to perfection!
